About Me

Jessica Macrino

Hello, and thank you for exploring my page! It’s been over 15 years since I was initially introduced to mindfulness and meditation during a yoga class. Little did I know then how important it would become in my daily personal and professional life. Through different course work and trainings, I have spent the last 10 years cultivating my own personal practice and learning how to teach others a variety of ways to incorporate mindfulness and meditation into their daily lives.

With the many demands of life, cultivating my own practice has at times been challenging and admittedly not always consistent. This is one of the many reasons I am excited to offer space for people to experience, learn and practice. A discipline can be difficult to maintain and I have always benefited from having support and guidance which also helps keep me accountable. I also recognize that formal sitting practices can be especially challenging for some. Because of this, my hope is to educate others on the many ways mindfulness can be incorporated into life beyond formal sitting meditation. While formal sitting meditation can be incredibly transformative and healing, it is not the only way to practice mindfulness. In fact, living a mindful life is so much more than a formal sitting practice and I love to share more about this with others.

Although I hold many professional titles, my role and purpose for A Mindful Life Wellness Experience, LLC is as a Mindfulness and Meditation Educator. My goal is to provide education and training through experience and workshops on the benefits of mindful living.

Learning to live a mindful life has truly helped me in numerous ways throughout the years. From my professional accomplishments to my personal health and well-being, incorporating mindfulness into my daily activities has increased my resilience, deepened my connections with myself and others, taught me how to be a better parent and has sought me through the many challenges of being a working mom and partner. I am so thankful to the many teachers who have shared their wisdom with me and continue to guide me as I share with others.
