What’s Your Why?
When we operate from a state of nonjudgmental awareness, we improve our ability to manage the many facets of well-being. Research shows that when we are truly immersed in the present moment we feel better, even when we may not love every moment of what we are experiencing.
A Mindful Life Wellness Experience, LLC was formed with these ideas in mind. My hope is to help others feel more connected with themselves and the world around them. Through my training and experience I have found that the best way to learn about mindfulness and mindful living is to experience it first hand for yourself!
Take the opportunity to explore, learn and create. You deserve it!
A benefit from learning to live a mindful life is the strengthened connection to yourself, your relationships with others, and the world around you. When we are more attuned with ourselves, we are better able to take care our needs. When we are able to take care of our needs, we can help care for others and our world with more energy and compassion.
One of the best gifts we can give others is our presence, but with the demands of our personal responsibilities it can feel difficult to show up the way we would like to. Taking time to learn valuable skills that can help strengthen our ability to be present is not only a gift to ourselves but also to our loved ones, our community and our world.
A Healthier You Leads to a Heathier Community.

An immersive experience is one in which the environment welcomes you to be fully engaged in the task at hand. In our workshops, we aim to create an environment that is conducive to exploring with your senses which can enhance your engagement and focus in the present. This is one of the primary goals of the experience.
-
Our hope is that you will learn how to tap into present moment awareness. Often times we are walking around on “autopilot”, not truly focused or engaged in day to day tasks. This usually leaves people feeling disconnected from themselves and others. Our emphasis is on providing a space to learn and practice mindfulness. There is a plethora of research that has shown the physical, mental and emotional benefits of incorporating mindfulness into our lives. Sometimes people are turned off by the word “mindfulness” because they attribute it to formal sitting meditation or a specific spiritual or religious lineage. While it is true that the concepts and practices have a long an rich history in ancient cultures and wisdom, mindfulness is a much more than words can describe. Thus we aspire to provide a space to experience it in different ways.
-
While mindfulness and meditation can be transformative, healing and therapeutic, workshops and immersive experiences are not therapy and should not be used to replace working with a mental health therapist. Workshops are used for educational and learning opportunities only.
-
While we cannot guarantee any specific results for each unique individual, some benefits may include: new or a deeper knowledge of mindfulness and/or meditation, increased knowledge on ways to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life for improved health and well-being, hands on learning, pleasant feelings such as calm and contentment, increased focus and concentration, stronger connections to self both physically and emotionally, stronger connections to others and much more.
-
For many, mindfulness and meditation are incredibly transformative and healing practices however like anything else there can be adverse side effects as well. When we are more attuned to our bodies and our experience we gain information. Sometimes this information does not always feel pleasant and can create feelings of distress. While our goal is to provide environments that feel uplifting and pleasant it is always possible to be triggered or to be unsatisfied with an experience. We do our best to provide you with information on what is involved in each workshop beforehand. You are always welcome to ask questions before purchasing a workshop and during any experience. We cannot be held liable for displeasure you may feel during or after participating in a workshop. Please consult with a medical and/or mental health provider before signing up for an experience if you have concerns about how it may effect you.
-
Anyone! Whether you have knowledge or experience with mindfulness or meditation, these workshops are intended to provide a space to learn, deepen your awareness or perhaps try something new! You do not have to have any experience or special interest just an open and curious mind.

There is a lot of time and energy that goes into creating and facilitating a workshop. While I understand that unexpected events happen, purchases are nonrefundable. If you provide at least 48 hours notice I will be more than happy to reschedule your experience for a later date.
-
Walking meditations will be rescheduled for a later date if inclement weather is indicated a few hours before an event. This would include thunderstorms, tornado warnings and blizzards. If there are concerns that the ground is too wet, muddy or a potential safety risk, the event will be rescheduled. Please check the email you provide for reminders and updates about a scheduled event. You may also choose to practice a walking meditation in doors.
